Corporate philanthropy and ‘Corporate Social Responsibility' (CSR)
should not be confused with social enterprises. The former refers
to the integration of social or environmental concerns in private
sector enterprises. CSR might cover making financial donations
to charities, or it might provide skills and expertise to social
enterprises who require help (e.g. law firms do pro-bono work
for people or organisations who can't afford to pay for it).
